As an educator, Gerald Bailey keeps busy teaching master classes and clinics throughout the Midwest and teaches privately in the Chicago area. 

He is currently a jazz instructor at University of Indianapolis, adjunct professor at Moraine Valley Community College, Trumpet Technique Instructor at the Chicago High School for the Arts, Ableton Live tutor for After School Matters, and a private trumpet teacher at Lyons Township High School.

Expectations in Gerald’s classes are kept at a high level and many of his students have gone on to become college music majors, compete at festivals, and participate in a wide range of community music organizations.
