In celebration of the birth of trumpeter Bix Beiderbecke, I had the honor of playing in the horn section of Josh Duffee’s Graystone Monarchs at the Tribute to Bix festival in Racine, Wisconsin this afternoon.  The band features the talented Andy Schumm on Cornet and members of the Fat Babies band are scattered throughout the personnel.
